Current Courses

Counterbalance
Counterbalance trucks are the most common type of forklift in use in the UK Ireland today and are the workhorse of most materials handling operating.

We specialise in counterbalance forklift training and all trainees are trained and tested to ITSSAR standard.
Generally courses last either 1,3 or 5 days. The one day course is for people renewing licences or have a number of years previous experience and need to gain a licence.
3 day course is designed for those people that have transferable skills such as driving other plant or machinery that can then be transferred to the operation of the forklift truck.
5 day course is designed for novices that are just starting out in the world of forklift operation, however if the instructor feels that more than five days is appropriate then we will advise on a longer course.

The Counterbalance forklift course comprises of a number of different topics in both the practical and theoretical aspect of the training:

• Introduction to truck
• Mount/DismountDriving and Truck Familiarization
• Hydraulic pick up set down correctly
• Forklift Stability
• Handling loaded Pallets
• Stacking and destacking
• Safe working load Eye level
• Safety Lift
• Rating Plate
• Chicane Unloaded/Loaded
• Daily Inspection, Takeover and Maintenance
• Stacking/De-stacking High Level
